JR Propo XG6 DMSS radio system

Seen for the first time at this year’s Nuremberg Toyfair JR Propo now officially announce the XG6 6-channel radio system. Equipped with DMSS transmitting technology the radio features 20 model memory, SD card support, dedicated airplane, heli and glider menus, trainer system, fail safe and telemetry functions, ball raced gimbals, and digital trims. Other features are a graphic LC display and 3D jog dial to work through the menu. The XG6 will become available soon.

LemonRC 1800mAh 10S F5B LiPo battery

Pichler introduce the LemonRC 10S 1800mAh F5B LiPo battery pack. Designed to deliver up to 80C and a peak current of over 200A the battery is meant for F5B competition airplanes and all other applications with high pea currents. Sporting dimensions of 155x46x35mm and a weight of 515g the pack comes prewired with thick silicon cables and two XHR balancer ports.

Great Planes Dirty Bird ARF

Great Planes introduce the ARF .60 Dirty Bird sports airplane. Coming with a painted fibre glass fuselage, prehinged control surfaces and balsa-sheeted horizontal stabilisers the plane is designed for .60-size engines and optional retracts. Other features include a painted fibreglass cowl, easily accessible electronics and the ability to make use of both standard and tuned pipes depending on your engine setup.

Microheli Blade mSR X 160mAh LiPo battery pack

Microheli have released this 160mAh 1S LiPo battery pack for Blade’s mSR X helicopter. The optional battery is build from a 25C cell, comes with the industry standard micro connector and is useable in other helis and planes that make use of batteries with the given dimensions.

Pichler Killer Hai drive set

Pichler release a dedicated drive set for their Killer Hai flying wing hotline glider. The set is designed for the use with 3S LiPo batteries and includes a Boost brushless motor, Pichler XQ controller, vented precision aluminium prop cam and a suitable folding prop. Of course the drive set is suitable for other planes in the 1100 to 1600g range too.

Castle Creations firmware updates

Castle Creations have released firmware updates for their Phoenix line of speed controllers as well as for their Castle Link USB programmer. The v4.01 firmware for the Phoenix, Phoenix HV and Phoenix Ice series ESCs replaces the v4.00 that may cause the controller to behave unusual. It also sports a functional improvement with increased maximum throttle change rate on multi-rotor setting. A throttle change of 50% can now be accomplished in .08s. Additionally two bugs that address occasional errors being recorded in the data log and unusual motor shutdowns, and other controller anomalies including ESC failure are now fixed.

Hacker Model Sbach 1200 combo set

Following the 840 series Hacker Model foam air racers Pichler also release the Sbach 1200 aerobatic plane as combo set including servos, motor and controller. The 1200mm wingspan Sbach is an ARF plane made from lightweight and tough EPP foam that comes with four S2112 servos, Boost 25 brushless motor including mounting hardware and prop cam, Pulsar A-40 controller and suitable prop. The plane is best powered with a 3S 11.1V 2200mAh LiPo battery and also includes landing gear, linkages and manual.

Hacker Model 840 series combo sets

Pichler release the Hacker Model Furias 840, Red Baron 840 and Rare Bear 840 as combo sets including two Master S2112 servos, a Pulsar P10 brushless motor including mounting hardware, a Pulsar A-20 brushless controller and a prop. The 840mm wingspan planes are cut from tough foam material, come printed and are build in minimal time. The planes are best powered with a 3S LiPo battery in the 800 mAh to 900mAh range.
