Gens ace 6S 25C & 30C LiPo packs

Gens ace release new 6S LiPo battery packs in the form of the 5300mAh 30C 6S1P and the 3300mAh 25C 6S1P offering. Both 22.2V batteries are usable in airplane and helicopter models, are covered in genuine Oracover shrink, are 1 to 3S chargeable and come with JST-XH balancer plug. The 5300mAh pack sports dimensions of 138x41x62mm while the 3300mAh pack measures 137x42x45mm.

Ready Heli mCP X brushless conversion

Ready Heli have released first information on a brushless conversion set for the Blade mCP X micro helicopter. The set will include a modified main frame, brushless motor with 8T pinion, brushless speed controller, new extended tail boom, and two more powerful LiPo battery packs. The plug & play set helps to convert the standard motor heli into a mean and much more powerful brushless machine. Additional information will be released soon by Ready Heli.

Video – Voodoo 400 flight

RCHeli News have found a first flight video of the recently announced Voodoo 400 electric helicopter. It shows how silent a split-belt heli can be. The components used in the video include a 4s 4000 20 C Turnigy battery, Pyro 400-14 motor, Kobi 90 LV controller, 6.5V BEC, Savöx SH-1250MG and Futaba BLS 251 servos, and AC-3X FBL system. A head speed of 1800-2000-2250 RPM is used.

Pichler Boost 180 brushless motor

Pichler have released the Boost 180 brushless outrunner motor, the largest and strongest in the Boost line so far. Sporting dimensions of 80x78mm, a weight of 1150g, and a 28-pole design the motor is designed for 3D airplane models up to 8kg, aerobatic models of up to 12kg and sport/trainer models up of to 16kg of weight. Features include a 10mm prop cam, oversized ball bearings and a 4-point motor mount.

Thunder Tiger Titan X50EF unboxing

RC Tech Magazine have just released a picture-heavy unboxing feature on Thunder Tiger’s Titan X50EF electric flybarless helicopter after doing the same with the nitro variant some time ago. The 600-size electric helicopter was introduced at the end of last year and is based on the nitro variant and sports a purpose-designed carbon fibre chassis for 8S to 12S LiPo batteries, rigid one-pice main rotor hub, reinforced linkages, 120 degree CCPM control system with 140 degree option, top-mounted motor for an optimised centre of gravity, and a torque tube rear assembly. Lynx T-Rex 600E Pro option parts

Lynx Heli Innovations have released new option parts for Align’s T-Rex 600E Pro helicopters. Available are an adjustable motor mount as well as mainshaft bearing blocks. The motor mount kit includes the rail-type motor mount and pinion support with bearing. The mainshaft bearing blocks come equipped with thrust and ball bearings, and the set includes a machined carbon fibre X-frame plate and elevator bellcrank. All carts are CNC-machined from 7075-T6 aluminium, come with a silver finish and include high-quality 12.9 hardware.
