Scorpion Commander V preview

RC Mania from Hong Kong released first information on the upcoming Commander V series speed controllers from Scorpion. The speed controllers will become available as 90A, 130A and 180A variant with the first two being usable with up to 50V (12S) input voltage and the 180A type with up to 59V (14S). All controllers sport a 5 to 7V SBEC with up to 20A peak current, are compatible with Mikado’s 5.1 Pro VBar and allow for easy adjustment and software updateability using an USB interface. The massive 180A variant sports nearly iPhone 4 dimensions, comes with a sturdy case with massive heat sink and extra thick wires to withstand the abuse of 800-class helicopter for which it is designed. No release date is given yet but as the controllers look pretty much production ready a release should not be too far away.
